Hi all, this is my first post on PSP-hq, i'm usually over at 360-hq.
I have a question regarding the memory stick needed when doing a hack. I bought a psp for £20 today (not bad i thought) and need to get a memory card. I understand that to do the hack with the modded battery and stick you need a pro-duo stick. Does it have to be a sony one or can it be any pro-duo make?
The firmware on my psp is 2.82 incase you needed to know.
Thanks _________________

any memory stick should do mate unless something has changed.. oh and btw.. thanks for the headsup on the spammers.. they are now banned but no doubt they will be back.
If you ever are around on psp-hq i can set you up with mod if you want to help out occassionally.. It's not like this site is very popular anyway and am really thinking of closing it to save the network some money.

Thats no probs. If you are thinking of shutting it down, maybe you could just keep the main tutorials and get rid of the forum part. _________________

Cool, i'll get onto ebay now then.
About the pandora battery, i have seen the guides to removing the fifth leg on the chip so something or other doesn't load and it loads the files from the memory stick first instead. I have also heard about using a pencil to do something similar, does anyone know of this or do i have to mess with the chip?
It is not a slim psp i have, not sure how old it is, says date code 6d. _________________
