I've found that this new update offers rather good support in its PSX emulator for pal games that have not been converted to NTSC (although I have read that it doesn't fix some of them) and Spiderman now works with out the sound FX dropouts. There is also a new Zoom function in the screen options menu. The Pal games come up with the full screen but letterboxed and this just changes it to full screen on those games. On NTSC games it just blows them up and crops the sides.
Not sure what else is different other that the A' release was for a bug with Metal Slug anthology and some other game UMDs that used Elf files or something whiched caused the PSP to crash.
