hey i have done many downgrades and cfw on the fat boy psp but i got a slim (2001) here that i want to put cfw on it has firm 5.02 on it and i need to know if this can be done and how to go about doing it???
and what is the lastest cfw out there,thank you _________________

madmoyers, i flashed mine 2 days ago using ChickHEN. You need to upgrade to 5.03 and then use ChickHEN to run the cfw. You have to load a tif image for the hack to work but it is not always guaranteed and can take quite a few tries to get it to work.
Once you have 5.03 ChickEN R2 installed (once you reset the PSP, it will go back to the original firmware) you load Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher and it will install 5.00 M33-4.
Is easy to find all the above software on google. _________________

is that the lastest m33 release??? i just updated my fat to 5.50 gen-c (full)
trying to get soul calibur to load but no luck iam thinking i should have stuck with 5.xx m33,but all my other backups play fine i have no issuses getting on line i just cant get that damn game to run,
and before i do my sons psp i wanna make sure i got the right(and best)cfw for his slim

I think 5.00 M33-6 is the latest (thats what i have). It runs Gran Turismo, FIFA 10 and NBA Live 10 no probs using yoshihiros game decrypter v4.
I have only started looking into PSP firmware the last couple of weeks, it can get confusing. _________________

cool i got'em running i d/l gen-c(full),that was a joke!!!
but shortly after my last post i found that they relesed a fix for it 4 days after
the gen-c came out.the gen-d is great no recovery boot changes or none of that shit
id still want m33 stuff but its all i could find,thank you anyways!! _________________
